Jacques Lacan L’Angoisse consists of two copies of Lacan’s seminar L’Angoisse (Anguish), and two doubles of the same book with annotations by the artist. The work is part of a project in which Dora García chooses the editions of some key books, creating replicas of them. Completely imitating the design and the number of pages of the originals, these doubles, however, contain blank pages filled by the artist page by page with annotations and drawings made in the process of reading the originals.
