In this film, Matta-Clark explores underground Paris. The artist shows us the complexity of the underground spaces in the Opera district with images of ruins, car parks, tunnels, ossuaries, cellars and tombs. Matta-Clark describes them as *‘forgotten spaces buried under the city, an historic reservation of living memories of past projects and fantasies.’*
