Jacques Louis Nyst introduces an element of time in his visual language. The traditional means of expression are maintained, but are deemed insufficient - and at times powerless. Expressing the notion of time has always caused problems and (temporary) solutions in the visual arts, in any form. Jacques Louis Nyst views it as a synthesis of different media, painting, photography, film, video, etc. and theoretical study.
