Jannie Regnerus was born in 1971, in Oudebildtzijl (The Netherlands). She has had a number of solo exhibitions in Gallery Koyanagi (Tokio), Anne de Villepoix (Paris) and Ellen de Bruijne Projects (Amsterdam); and group shows in venues such as Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and Art Basel.
