In the work that was especially conceived for A Rua, Neto singles out one of Rio’s enduring Dionysian myths as his working material: the city’s world-famous Carnaval. "Saturday, Sunday, Monday" refers to the three days when the images on view in this video installation were made - a chronicle of the a city during one of the world’s greatest parties, compressed inside one of the artist’s signature improvisatory structures.
