Lonely at the Top (LATT) on the sixth floor has been a platform for dialogue since 2014. In four episodes, an established name in the Belgian art scene introduced a lesser known artist. The lesser-known artists, in turn, chose one or more works by these established names in the presentation. On the Thursday evening of the preview of a new Dialogue, the two artists entered into dialogue.

Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven (°1951, Antwerp) introduced Andrea Pichl (°1964, Haldensleben), a German artist who is inspired by inconsistencies and contradictions in socialist architecture. For example, by the strange way in which gaps are bridged, by data often neglected, and by components which are 'officially' considered a failure. The forms of socialist architecture are the primary focus of her research, and she has travelled far afield in search of future examples.
