Stigmata.
I consider violence to be a faceless thing.
The face has lost all its recognisable features.
Human barbarity has made it unrecognisable.
When I attempt to draw the face of violence.
I create white, faded holes.
they are like stigmata, which we should cherish and feel
in the hopes that they will accompany us freely.
