The performances expand on Nkanga’s ideas in a more physical and vocal way. For Bruises and Lustre the artist extends a performance series titled Glimmer as well as a recent performance produced for another solo exhibition at Portikus in Frankfurt that interacts directly with Solid Maneuvers.
