M HKA reserves its fifth floor for surprising interventions and intimate pop-up presentations. INBOX is a place that inspires and surprises, one that offers us a glimpse into the world of passionate thinkers and doers. With INBOX, M HKA creates a physical space in which the museum addresses often-recurring questions.

In the periods between the various events, we present a selection of our collection works, with particular attention to video art.

Kwadragram

Performance on the Scheldt terrace.

Kwadragram is a situation investigating possibilities of symbolic and physical influence of geometrical figures in movement on the space expansion. 
1. Traingle Choreo is a dance of three objects of a primal shape in the complex world of geometry.
It is a playful performance which explores various configuration of three triangles and three basic colours in order to interconnect the space, time and psychosomatic experience of the whole setting.
It is also a bridge between the altered reality and the present.

2.The kinetic sculpture Amoeba is another ritualistic tool for investigating space. 
The symbiosis between the Amoeba and performers creates a form of dialogue which produces unknown patterns and possibly opens a gate to different dimensions.
The sculpture was designed and made by one of 4Fold members - Jana Horalkova, namely music and the whole performance was composed by the 4Fold collective.

Glass Box

Performance in greenhouse 1 on the roof terrace.

A performance by Dawid Wojatalewicz and Rino Sokolo explores possibilities of live painting intertwining dynamics of movements and static features of a place of the performance. 
The whole interaction can easily be followed in context of the struggle and wounds of his painter.

''is No time Beauty need save the world ''

Debate in greenhouse 2 on the roof terrace.

A debate on art and ecology. The conversation focusses on such questions as: 'Who can artists shape their ecological engagement? Art practice as an issue, as engagement, as testimony, as action ... What is the power of art, how can it save us, nature and the world?'

Within the framework of the exhibition De Opwarming, the end results of the research project 'No Time' were: landscape, climate, action!

Unspoken Words in de Square

Talk on the roof terrace in Skyspace.

A 4Fold-collective event presents all possible acts with words and their absence, silence, noise, intuitive, invented or with any form of communication expressing poetics of space. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to speak, play, interact or just sit in unspoken space and soak it all up... 

4fold is an interdisciplinary project focused on intertwining movements, sounds, visuals and words.
It sets up a composite work fusing all branches of art in an artistic unity.
