Think in Colour by Hugo Puttaert

Hugo Puttaert is the next guest at INBOX, with the presentation of his book Think in Colour.  This volume collects together work from Puttaert and his design studio Visionandfactory in an approach that is kaleidoscopic, not arranged chronologically or thematically, but rather according to colour, ascending like the colour-spectrum itself, and so combining the diverse component parts within a cleverly conceived structure.   

At INBOX the book will be presented in an installation specially designed by Jan and Randoald: a sort of module that alternatively heats the book up and cools it down.  When the book is cold, it turns black; when it's warm, all its colours are fully revealed.  Together with critical and acute opinion pieces by guest-authors Rick Poynor and Steven Cleeren, Puttaert's vision on graphic design and artistic thinking is cogently elaborated.
