Onboards Biennale transforms Antwerp’s urban landscape into an unfolding exhibition, reimagining billboards as sites of collective artistic encounter. The 2023 edition featured over 100 artworks displayed across the city for a month. In Touch invited reflections on empathy, connection, and the social role of art in public space. For this presentation M HKA selected 20 works for their resonance with the city’s dynamics and their relevance to what is happening in the world. The works illustrate how visual art can intervene in shared spaces, opening dialogues about public engagement, and reminding us that being ‘in touch’ means participating in a broader conversation.
