The work Vleestempel plays a connecting role in the context of the exhibition Can I Be in Your House, 2025 at INBOX, M HKA. Positioned as a central element in the room the work formally echoes the ceramic reliefs and at the same time, by its loose resemblance of a fireplace creates a link with the illuminated sculptures.  Vleestempel also introduces a narration throughout the exhibition space that of fires burning outside of their designated space, the fireplace.
