Jazz Middelheim celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, and this occasion deserves an extraordinary project. Jazz Middelheim searched through the archives and collected photographic material, print work, video and sound recordings and memorabilia. Impressive photos of jazz legends complete the unique collection, which can be viewed at 35 different locations in Antwerp.
Visit all the locations on the route with the help of the application, discover the ode to jazz photographers in the FotoMuseum, take a look at the vintage collection in the Vleeshuis, walk along the six spaces on the MAS boulevard or get acquainted with the festival’s rich history at any of the other locations.
M HKA also takes part in this celebration of jazz. INBOX provides an overview of all 35 portraits, together with the artwork Wax On by Joris Van De Moortel, a musician and artist who embodies rock ‘n roll.
