The Universal Machine.

This rare Cinématographe Lumière was one of the very first film cameras. It was built by Jules Carpentier in about 1895. In the history books, the Lumière brothers are often credited with inventing film, but in reality film history is much more subtly nuanced and other workable film cameras and projectors existed shortly before the Lumières. The technique of cinematography itself even existed several decades earlier. At the present time, when machines are highly specialised, it is remarkable to think that this device operated not only as a 35mm camera, but also as a film projector and film duplicator.
