LATT: new art in Antwerp 1958-1962 #5 but vision itself
Gerhard von Graevenitz (1934-1983) publishes the review nota in 1959-1960, aiming to promote new art and literature. At the start of the Sixties he is also one of the driving forces behind the ‘new tendencies’ that are pushing for a more pure art, a contemporary version of the constructive and concrete tradition. His own work comprises well-considered experiments that plastically translate movement, light, space, time, structure, chance and repetition. The results are both subtle and striking.
