"In this very short film, Teetotum, I staged the dangerous and colourful games that a group of children play while their mother is trying to relax in the garden. The film attempts to stun the viewer by the whirling movements of the children, who perform as a circus troupe. The acidulous images, the apparent danger and cruelty of their gestures are visibly acted, while their mother remains clownishly unaffected… until she joins the game.
